DEFY was built on a simple belief — ordinary isn't for everyone.
Founded in New Zealand in 2021, DEFY was created for people who choose their own path. The early mornings, late nights, setbacks, wins, and everything in between. We're inspired by the people who keep showing up when no one is watching, who back themselves when it's easier not to, and who understand that growth comes from pushing beyond comfort.
What started as an idea has grown into a community of people who share the same mindset. People who aren't chasing perfection, but are committed to becoming better than they were yesterday.
Our designs are influenced by New Zealand culture, streetwear, creativity, and the places we call home. From beach towns and city streets to workshops, gyms, cafés and everyday life, we create clothing that fits naturally into the lives of those who wear it.
